SOHOLM
Hi I'm Adrian
I'm new to the Forum. I'm wondering if anyone can help give me some more information about my SOHOLM lamp, I've been drawing a complete blank with every search I try online,
I can find SOHOLM but it all seems to be of very angular typically Scandinavian, modern design.
This lamp was my Grandmothers I think from the 1950s & I have a vague memory of it also having a pleated yellow material shade, I'm sure the (grotty) top lamp fitting has also been changed to a newer one.
The lamp has a few very tiny pin prick sized black marks & a small faint line under the glaze, can anyone identify the markings on the base for me?
Thanks In advance

Re: SOHOLM
Not their usual style as you say, but must be Soholm with the clear mark.
Very 1950s, not seen a piece like it from them.

Re: SOHOLM
If you thought that was unusual: a Tito moneybox...

Yes, the money box is quite weird! especially as you have to insert money into his severed neck!
Would anyone know if the gilt 'G13' mark on the base of my vase would be the pattern number? there's also a gilt R on the base, I'm trying to do a bit more research.
