Unidentified crown mark - porcelain saucer

Dear Forum

Attached pictures of a small porcelain saucer with Imari style decoration. Paired with a small teacup which is not available to picture today.

Base of saucer is marked with a crude crown above what I believe is the letter “P”.

Any insights on mark gratefully received!

Has been suggested that this could be a Derby/Royal Crown Derby backmark. Any thoughts gratefully received as always.

I'm not seeing gaudy welsh motifs. I don't have a crown Derby book, but Goddens
does not show a mark corresponding to this one. I'm still thinking European.

I wondered if Dresden might a possibility other than Derby?

Suggestion of Samson of Paris being the makers???
