This owl figurine has an impressed mark 'LUCKHAM HORNSEA'. Is this by the Hornsea designer Alan Luckham? It seems to be very different from his other work.

I think it must be. There's a similar frog in a post by the Hornsea Pottery Collectors' and Research Society's (Hornsea Pottery CRS) twitter page https://twitter.com/HPCRS/status/769265185790029824
Plus some Hornsea Pebbles online in a similar clay

Between 1967 and 1972 Alan Luckham did designed several large animals like
this using a brown earthenware, though there is no mention of an owl in the book.
They were made in very small quantities, and the book confirms that some at least
were (probably) marked "LUCKHAM HORNSEA" impressed, though at the time of
writing the book, it was an unrecorded mark.
