That type face has a 60's look about it. Equally the MADE IN BRITAIN stamp. Anybody remember the BACKING BRITAIN campaign in 1968 backed by the Wilson government? Looks exactly like something produced for that,on sale in Trendy SWINGING LONDON SHOPS.

I’ve seen one other piece described as Art Deco, but 50s makes more sense
