Longwy pottery
Hi, I am a new member, and would like advice on Longwy pottery.
My wife and I discovered this manufacturer at an antique fair in Devon close to our home and have since started collecting( currently 10 pieces ).
We have done a fair bit of research about the company, but are finding difficulty sourcing items outside fairs, flea markets etc in our locale.
Have looked on eBay etc, but prefer to see and handle the items before we buy.
Can anyone suggest dealers, antique centres that stock this pottery within England, as we travel to shows.
Regards to you all.

Re: Longwy pottery
I saw a dealer with a line of Longwy pottery at the Eastleigh Fair on New Years Day. The next fair is at Easter . If they’re still there I’ll get their details

Re: Longwy pottery
Thanks for the reply, we have bought a number of pieces from Peter Jeff's when he has exhibited at Westpoint Devon.
He seems to be the foremost expert in the Uk, unless someone knows different.
I think he is based in the SouthEast of England.
Any further knowledge would be most appreciated, as this helps with spotting fakes, which I believe are prevalent in Europe.
Longwy prices do seem to vary considerably from a few pounds up to over £1000 for rarer pieces.
My wife and I collect an eclectic mix of both pottery and glass, again sourced from anything flea markets to antique shops.
