Porcelain cat figure. Hobby piece?

I know ID is unlikely with this, but I'm looking to canvas opinion on it.
It's a little wacky, but we'll done imo.
A little age to it, judging by the wear and dust, but not that old. I'm guessing mid to late 20th century.
Possibly a hobby piece, though I'm leaning towards something that was produced in some numbers for a larger retail company.
I'm probably a million miles away, but hey ho, there we go.

I think its production ware. Maybe similar to the company that makes the Cow Parade cows

By production ware, do you mean something that's mass produced, say in China for example?
