I think it’s closer to Ray Silverman but I’m not familiar with his style of work . Not quite right for Rupert Spira.

I would tend to agree with Naomi. I do not think it is Rupert Spira. Although he did have a pottery at Froyle is Hampshire for over a decade. But his work then was all very Cardew Leach style. His work then became very much more sophisticated. It is difficult from these photos to see what the style of this piece is like.

Another RS possibilty might be Roy Saywell. He worked at Compton pottery and Surrey Ceramics in the 1960's.

Roy Saywell had a messy incised monogram so I think you can rule him out
