Nice little jug with a basket weave pattern and floral colorings
seems similar to belleek but not as fine i wondered if anyone might know

I think it’s 19thC feldspathic stoneware. Similar colours to Castleford Pottery but not a design I recognise

Hi Potteryman it is very similar to pressed glass the only thing i noticed which sets it apart is the
specks in the mixture on close inspection very hard to tell appreciate the comment and i would agree with the Castleford comment from NaomiM i think it is the feldspathic material after studying pictures of there pieces
but not seen one the same as this yet, it amazes me how these little piece of everyday wares make it so long after production i guess it would not happen with the production of many things from todays manufacturers.
