This is an impressionist oil on canvas painting - purchased with some other French paintings recently hence why I think this could be French but the signature is very hard to read especially the first name which I really cannot work out!  The surname looks like BESHOTTZ but the last few letters are hard to read - any ideas please?

Actually it is an oil on board painting and not on canvas!
