Re: Pig Creamer Franklin Mint
Probably not. The Franklin Mint were one of those many firms who specialised in 'collectables' in the 60s 70's and 80's. They did all sorts of things including pottery figurines and plates. They advertised a great deal in the newspapers and magazines and sold them as antiques of the future. Their goods were very well produced, and very successful.
But their very success is the problem. They produced lots and lots of Stuff which was very widely collected. Vast quantities in fact. Which makes most of their stuff worth peanuts nowadays.
As always, there are exceptions. Items with small production runs have some value. But they are few and far between.
Sorry to disappoint you,

Thanks Philpot, as I pick most of my stuff up from Carboots and fairs for practically peanuts I still tend to buy the newer pieces that seem to fit in with the decor, plus I like pigs . Your advice and expertise is a great help as always, once again thank you and have a very pleasant day
