Seen before but where? Coffee can / saucer
Good afternoon,
I have exhausted 3 of my 4 brain cells!
I know I have seen this type of coffee can / saucer before but can’t remember / can anyone assist and put me out of my misery.
The impressed mark is on the coffee can & saucer but both are full of glaze!
I don’t think it is but if anything it could be a Winchcombe mark but that has to be tilting it back and forth which a) I can’t really film and b) I’m still not sure!!
The mark is in a square….. not a massive help I know but it could rule some thoughts out!

The problem is the surface was lumpy and glazed - keep thinking I can see an M …Mike Dodd but as you alter the angle I see something different!!

Maybe a Jack Doherty design for Leach Pottery

Interesting - I’ll ruminate and cogitate about that one and perhaps send Jack a photo - I’ve found him very approachable in the past!
Thanks I wouldn’t have thought of that.

His Leach design mugs have a very distinctive handle that has a triangular cross section where it joins the rim
