Japanese crackle glaze
I’m Good afternoon fellow enthusiasts,
Confession time for me - I have to admit that my limited knowledge is so poor that I cannot decide whether these are studio pottery made in a studio, or by some kind of machine.
I know there are those of you who would understand what goes into making these and be able to tell me if they are and what sort of process is involved because in some respects they are almost too good.
The ones with the brown bottoms are unmarked save for the dark line in the foot rings thogh the leather looking one has two small squares but absolutely no chance of reading them (assuming that’s what they are!)
The other two with pink on them are I think studio pottery but aside from the purple mark on the lid vase and a circle on the bowl both on the foot. I am clueless!!
I have attached the photos of the pink ones on another listing. I know you can’t plait fog but I’d be happy to know from the potters how the first ones are produced unless it’s Incised decoration glazed with brown.
Thanks

Re: Japanese crackle glaze
The first two are Japanese table ware. The other two are different potteries so best to post them on separate threads
