Poole Stoneware Vase - "Olympus"
Hi All
I've run out of resources on my own so hoped someone here may be able to give me some clues as to the age of this piece of Poole Pottery. I have looked at traditional pieces as the motif has an art deco design yet the colours feel more 'retro'. With regards the stamp on the base, to me has a similar type face to the carter stabler adams impressed marks i saw and also mines not got the dolphin motif

POOLE
STONEWARE
ENGLAND
60 D
K (in a circle)?
...as to the material stoneware animals for sure, stoneware vases not really found much of anything. As always I appreciate anyones time in responding here and any little titbits that i can follow up on also help greatly.

Re: Poole Stoneware Vase - "Olympus"
Poole "Olympus" from 1977 shape 60 D.
Thrown by Carol Kellet.
Pattern is "seashore"
There may be a decorator's mark on the base also
if you take a pic from further away.

Absolute superstar thanks denby, on my research journey i found a cool site detailing the history of poole pottery through the decades and I am now a big fan. This particular piece isnt really my taste, as its a bit of a plain jane.
I can't thank you enough for your speedy reply as I really had drawn a blank and had kinda reached a dead end, which was fustrating, so you have made me very happy. cheers a million.
