Vase with G marking?
Hi all,
Joined the forum to see if anybody can help me, or more specifically, my mum. She's been trying to identify this vase she had passed onto her from her mum when she died, and it's been a constant conversation in our family about where it's from etc. Only information I have regarding it is, is it was a wedding present some time in the 1940s and the pictures posted with it.
Any information would be greatly appreciated, she just wants to be able to say what it is or who made it rather than valuations etc. Might even get me some brownie points
Thanks
Andy

Radford? Although they're usually marked.
Also reminds me of some hand painted Dutch Gouda stuff I've had in the past.
Hopefully someone might recognise the distinctive two tone glaze.

Re: Vase with G marking?
Not Radford. the mark is likely to just be a decorators mark.
Can you take some pix from further away, so we can see the full base,
and inside the neck.
Forgive me for thinking it looks like hand painted Bohemian glass.

I've just messaged her to see if she can take some better pictures, and I'll put them on when I receive them.
Thanks for the replies so far, do you think we are correct with the age of it? ie 1940s
