Bearded Man Jug - Werner Corzelius (Germany)

My first post so thank you all for having me.  I am an amuetur collector of everthing :)  I doubt this piece has much value but I am curious at to the maker, age and any pertinent information.

Ususally known as a "bellarmine" made for hundreds of years
all over the world, but your's has a clear mark, could be USA?

It looks like some celebration, or anniversary piece. Is 1558 a year date?

The five-petal stylised Lancashire or Yorkshire rose embossed symbols hint
at English, but I'm really not sure it is.

Not sure about that, it doesn't look anything like the rest of her work.
Another one here described as West German, which seems more likely.

Not sure either way - cant find that mark style attributed to her although form of the pot matches very closely but glaze is odd.

That looks pretty conclusive. So probably between 1954 and 1990.
