I know the town, which used to be an antique shop Mecca in its day and have seen the mark in the past but never been able to find anything out about the pottery.

It's local to Dantheman but I would be surprised if he knows any more.

I was unaware of the existence of Horncastle pottery, despite being a very regular visitor to the town.
My Father in law took part in those ploughing competitions though
