Large Black Art Vase - Julien MacDonald, Debenhams Star

Any ideas on this huge heavy vase. No signatures sadly. For some reason the system has turned my photos sideways...

It does remind me of some Ernest Gordon designs for Afors, but the lack of a signature, plus those side wings throws a bit of a spanner in the works. Side wings like that are more seen on Murano glass than Scandinavian in my experience, so I would include that in your search as well.
It's a lovely piece so I hope you get an answer!
