Slipware bird jug signed Roseanne C
Jug is a bit heavy but very well decorated.
Incised Roseanne C mark. And Slipware RC.
Can’t find a Roseanne making slipware.

The Roseanne C might well be the person it was made for. A lot of slipware pottery was made for personal gifts or presentations. It is a much easier pottery to personalise than many others. So it might well be a lot older than you might think.
