Mystery elephant with MC mark Empty Mystery elephant with MC mark

2 piece pottery elephant. Removable head.
Stamped hand made. Incised what looks like M C
Also another stamp I think I can't read. Plus 15 and R with a dot below
Most unusual.
7 inches high
8 inches wide
9.5 inches deep.
