Picked up two of these bowls the other day. Can't nail the signature.
Measurements: 2.5" high, 5.25" diameter

HOY. The name that immediately comes to mind is Agnete Hoy. She Worked in Stoke for some time. Opened and organised  Bullers studio pottery department 1940-52  and worked for Doultons 1952-56; She lived in London from the early 50's and produced individual work. While this is not a known mark of hers, it is the sort of signature you give on the occasional items you forgot to put a mark on.

Philpot, I really appreciate it. I do see a few Bullers pieces of hers that have similar characteristics. Thank you. It's a great lead and looks promising.

NaomiM, you're right. I'm in the upper left of the US in the Pacific Northwest. I'm mostly drawn to mid-century pieces and this struck me right away so I grabbed them.
