Jug with Controlled Bubbles and Central Void Empty Jug with Controlled Bubbles and Central Void

Looks like a very complicated jug to produce - the central hole looks particularly tricky!
If anybody has any clues as to origin, I'd be delighted to hear. I have a pair - although they're mostly the same shape, but the bubble pattern and colour are slightly different.
