Re: French? grey stoneware bottle dated 1915
Vinaigrier Distillateur / Fournisseur des premiers cours de l'Europe. i wonder if the first row is " Moutarde de Maille" , i might tell for sure if i could see a better picture.
So, it can be " Moustard of Maille, vinegar distiller, the supplier of the most important (royal) courts of Europe"
sorry, this is the second edit , Moustard de Maille was indeed the supplier of french royal court and at one point, they had some similar bottles.

Thanks it - The first word is Moustard then mainly corroded.
I shall take it to France later this year and give it to a brocante seller in a market - of more interest to them than me. I use it for paintbrushes
thank you

I was right than, it is about Moutarde de Maille. View they have a long history, i assume your 1915 bottle is not so very rare. If i was you, i would keep it for brushes . Wish you well !
