large glass penguin

the seller made no claim to the origin but they (and I) thought the piece was Murano-made

in another forum somebody thought it might be Scandinavian

there appears to be a signature on the side at the base but extremely difficult to decipher?

any comments would be appreciated as to the maker

Does the colour change between day and electrical light exposure?

The colours don't really strike me as Cenedese, and neither does the base finish - you'd typically find a small chamfer that would erase the light chipping you can see on the edge.

the glass does change colours in different light and is probably alexandrite

several people thought it was Cenedese, several others thought otherwise, so......... ?
