Help identifying amethyst purple art glass vase - Murano? Sanyu? Other?
Hello, I am new to the forum (well, any forum), so please forgive me if I don't post this correctly. I have found at an estate sale a vase that I was told is vintage hand-blown Murano ribbed/pulled vase, but there is no paperwork to support that statement. I bought it because it is gorgeous, in great condition and my favourite colour. These are the particulars: 30.2cmH x 9cmW at widest part (base is 7cm at widest) x 1.2cm Thick (‘petals’ at top) weight: 1269 grams. There are micro-abrasions and micro-chipping along edge of bottom, bottom is flat with a polished round center. Some micro-bubbles visible in mostly the bottom (wide part) of the vase. Shallow small (cca 1cm) scratch on left side of tallest ‘rib’.
I have seen similar to identical but in other colours on the web, most frequently labelled as either Murano or Sanyu. I do not know how to identify either or any other similar make. I would greatly appreciate any information. Thank you. (I have more pics but it seems I can only post 3 now... maybe in a new post?)

Definitely not Murano with that base. The base is common to Japanese glass, Sanyu is a strong possibility but also Hineri Iwatsu. There's a very good Japanese glass group on Facebook who in sure would confirm

Thank you so much for this lead! I do enjoy not just learning about art and all that man creates, but the journey of discovery itself. Kind regards,
