Can I see an S with a cross bar and two dots in there? The Leach St Ives S mark?

Thanks both. Don't think its Leach St Ives, doesn't quite feel right. Thanks for the input both

I was thinking old Leach St Ives. 1920's and 30's. Standard Ware was all earthenware then, and they had a fair amount of kiln faults as this one does. The clay looks a bit similar as well.

Thanks Phil. Great insight Certainly didn't want to dismiss St Ives out of hand just so tricky when the mark is so indecipherable but I am not an expert, certainly not of the '20s or '30s

Re: unclear mark - any ID possible?
I've turned the photo round a few times and I can't see a Leach St Ives mark. The way the base has been fired on ceramic pads doesn't fit either, imo
