Pottery ID Help Please, made in Peru
I wonder if some kind soul would be able to help with identifying some pottery for me?
The images are of a cup which makes up a tea or coffee set that includes saucers and some bowls. It is a brown / terracotta colour and has a clear glaze. The marks on the base look like they are written with some sort of pen or possibly a brush.
Although I was given these a few years ago, I would very much like to know where they were made and if possible the artist's name as the relatives who gave them to me are no longer with us. If I can display them it would be nice to know where they came from.
It is possible that they have a connection with the West Country and could have originally been bought any time between the 60's and early 2000's.
Any information would be much appreciated, thank you.
