Rabbit with basket, France Empty Rabbit with basket, France

I recently bought this pretty little ceramic ornament of a rabbit with a basket which has applied  floral decoration. Perhaps it may be a match holder.
I thought it was reminiscent of Belleek but it isnt. I have tried to identify the mark on the base with no success at all and wondered whether you may be able to assist in identifying it please. It is 9.5cm tall x 11cm x 13 cm

From the style I'd say Austrian or German. There seems to be a stamped name on the base or it might just be an uneven surface

If I'm not mistaken, the impressed mark on the bottom says "Depose". In the picture, it is upside down.
