Here's a poor picture of a magnificent pot (entitled "Stoneware bird vessel" according to the museum label) by Scottish potter Alex Leckie (1932-2010) which I photographed in Paisley Museum in 2005.

Paisley has superb studio pottery collections. The museum has been shut for several years for a complete rebuilt/refit/extension. Let's hope their pots look even better when it reopens, whenever that might be!
