How much stuff actually sells on Ebay?
Looking for anything decent on Ebay seems to be hard work on Ebay nowadays. The whole site is massively overloaded with ever repeating listings which will never sell. Selling prices of a lot of specialist ceramics seem to be based more on hope than expectation. The gallery prices do not reflect what is happening in the auction market. The only thing I buy and Ebay are a few books and posters.

Well I think it was Naomi who said there needs to be a never show me this again button. I follow twenty or thirty searches and the same crap goes round and round and round. Unsold. Imagine going to an auction and the same items come up every month = unsold. Yes it's a junk shop online with people asking silly prices for damaged stuff but if you look long enough thing do pop up. Auction houses filter out the crazy stuff, Ebay does not.

Well it’s like an antique shop where the same stuff stays unsold on the shelves for years
