Unmarked porcelain vases decorated with figures for ID

Generally speaking, I've stopped posting pots that are unsigned,  but these stand out for obvious reasons and I'm hoping someone recognises them and knows the potter.
Hand painted figures (all around both vases) with minimalist sponge decoration.
Whilst not to everyone's taste, I think they are fabulous.
Too good to have been done on a night class.......
Some age, not recent.
Any help appreciated.

Helps to have photos of the base to check if they're bought in blanks or thrown or other.

It's a long story, but I haven't got them here (yet), so unable to upload photos of the base of either.
I'll try and get some more photos when I next visit them, so to speak.

Unfortunately I'm unable to add more photos, my budget was £25 before commission and someone outbid me.
Pity, but hey how, you don't win em all, as the saying goes.

They look like slip-molded blanks that someone has decorated. Possibly British or Italian.

You're probably spot on Naomi, but either way... I just love them.
