Seeking information about mystery item with Davenport backstamp!

Hi! Thank you for accepting me as a member. :)

Can anyone help me work out what this is, how old it is and who made it? The backstamp says Davenport, but I can't match the backstamp with any pictures of authentic Davenport stamps I have found. Could it be that old anyway? And what exactly is it - a fruit bowl, a serving dish? I love researching the heritage of items but this one has just left me drawing blanks! No, the fact it says "Made in England" suggests it is after 1914.

Looks like it may be from the Art Deco period, to my eyes at least.
Similar in style to Royal Winton, Carlton Ware ect...

As "Davenport" is in parentheses I would suggest it is the pattern name,
rather than the manufacturer.
I would guess at 1920s, but not a mark I recall seeing.

Ah, thank you - that makes a lot of sense, I did wonder if that's what the parentheses was about. So it is just a mystery manufacturer, I guess!
