A very large and heavy slab-built stoneware bottle vase, in a square flattened shape, 40 cms tall and 35 cms wide. No markings. Has a vaguely Japanese feel.

I'll be grateful for any ideas and suggestions as to who might have made it.

Now confidently attributed to Eric Norstad (1924-2013), a US potter based in Oregon and California. Wonder how it got to Scotland? 🤔
