Yes, well done there is a Coombs in British Columbia. Not traced the maker yet.

The Coombs community on Vancouver Island was developed by the Salvation Army from 1910 and was originally populated by people from crowded cities in the UK.

There are towns called Amuri in the Cook Islands, New Zealand, Pakistan & Finland so the pottery might have been started by someone moving to Coombs from one of those places.

There is a website for the community at https://www.coombshistory.com/

but no mention of a pottery, although you might be able to ask a question on the website.

It has a population of around 1,300 so someone there ought to remember.
