?? H: 85mm, dia: 80mm Could be Japanese, has an impressed mark on bottom side near foot which I can’t decipher... Anyone any ideas of maker/origin? Thanks

Yes, I see what you mean. Your teapot is much more 'rustic' in appearance. But agree, has Japanese influence.
