Sorry Philpot I have looked at the mark under lights and a magnifying glass but I cannot make out anything other than looking at the imprint of the mark and the way the glaze has run I think the outside imprint appears quite large and well impressed which then seems silly to cover it over with glaze.....oh well I bought it to study marks and to learn.
I think what I have learned is that glaze can't be removed and can't be seen through!!!

I have looked at Mike Dodds mark and it is a possible given the size and shape of the outline of the external part of the impressed mark but nothing evidential that would convince me.
I don’t know Mike Dodds work either but I have heard of him and seen some of his pots before.
