Murano Sommerso Flavio Poli?
Must admit, you get a lot of wrongly attributed Murano... I know this is Murano with triple Sommerso technique, but who has designed it and what factory made it? I think that this may be a rare form, you see lots of square section vases, but this has a rhombus section... Any glass aficionados help? Thanks

Yes, can't say I've seen that shape before.
The factory was Seguso Vetri D'Arte, which he joined in the 1930s.

So, are you of the opinion that it is Poli for Seguso? Rather than Mandruzzato? Thanks

Re: Murano Sommerso Flavio Poli?
Seguso/Flavio Poli is one of the most common misattributions on the internet and 99% of the time is wrong. This is Murano but unless signed or labelled, it's difficult to pin down a maker as they were made by many factories, including Mandruzzato, Campanella, V. Nason, and V.M.P. This one is a less common shape which may help narrow your search
