maiolica bowl? Empty maiolica bowl?

I really like this bowl I picked up in Italy on the weekend

there are three different glazes, the green is like glass, the gold-tan is like sandpaper and the pink is a crackled texture

this is my first piece that seems to have been made from black clay??
