Could it have been a plain white Crown Derby Teapot, decorated later by someone at a "workshop"? I have seen quite a few plates etc painted and signed by amateurs using blank plates. The signature looks a bit rough for a Crown Derby artist. Just my thoughts.... Regards, Pete.

Yes I would agree Pete, a fairly standard white teapot, not uncommon, but having
said that, the decoration is very competent, and gilding too, maybe an art class?
