Slipware earthenware vase, DL mark

The vase below was in storage at least 20 years, although the style is unfamiliar the  colours are saying Richard Phethean to me and the signature is no problem a million miles from his current one (I have a few more modern pieces.) thought I’d seek a second opinion before running it by him?

Quoting from his entry in the 2000 edition of POTTERS
'An interest in pre-industrial slipware led to a lengthy exploration of the medium and my current work is a contemporary distillation of this'
Sounds pretty much like this one.
