Really appreciate something to go on, many thanks for the name Naomi. I'll update if I get to the bottom of it.
Funnily enough, I'd boxed it up with other mystery pots, pieces that I consider very good, which this one is. It can come out again when I'm ready to rotate pieces.

I think you may have meant Muchan, possibly. Not had any joy with Muchin, but looks similar in style to some Paul Muçhan pieces I've seen.
