If you like it then it's fine. However, it isn't something that I have seen before and I have have been collecting pottery of one kind or another for 40 years, which is frightening for me, if not you. That's why I used the phrase that I did. However we "old stagers" tend to think everything was better quality in the old days.

Hi Studio_Pots :) Thank you - I appreciate your reply, I'm still new to pottery and wasn't sure about this piece as I loved the style of it and thought it might be older, so thank you for your thoughts because it's hard for me to tell! The latter half of my comment was in response to "cheap tat"
