For the large brown/green piece, there is a large gold sticker saying it's from Meyssac, but no other marks I can find about who made it. If anyone recognises the style I would love to hear who you think made it!

Also, just an aside on the second one - The sticker is quite imposing on the form and I'm wondering should I take it off?? I can't imagine the maker was thinking it would stay stuck to the side of it forever...Shrugs

Thanks for reading and for any help you might be able to provide!

I need to split the thread because they are by different potteries.

I would keep the label on because it can add value with a positive ID when the pot is unmarked. Plus it's on the side with a glaze blemish so you can just turn it round when displaying it.

Thanks for the info on the label too...as you say, there definitely is a "front" and a "back" with this piece, so maybe it's not a big deal to keep the label. It keeps bothering me while it's sitting on my dining table, but once I have it properly on display I probably won't see it, so I will leave it for now as you suggest.
