Unfortunately most of the records for Italian ceramics was destroyed in the late 20thC and it’s being pieced back together by collectors of certain types of Art Pottery like Bitossi and Bagni. This looks like commercial production ware so unless there’s one with a box or label on eBay or Google images it may not be possible to ID it.

I hope to find some Bitossi or Bagni pieces
there also seems to be a fair bit of German ceramic pieces in Italy with the odd item from France too

I love Italian ceramics. Although they used molded pieces, they often employed decorators to hand decorate the pieces so there are some lovely quirky designs.
A lot of the more colourful and quirky Bitossi pieces were exported to the US, and you just don't see them round here. The 70s was the era of brown pots in the UK.
