Wheatear Slipware Cheese Bell, Unsigned.
A very well made cheese bell with 6" diameter base-plate, both green-glazed with slip wheatear design, with a dark treacle-glaze inside the lid..
The bell has a looped knop which rather than being attached to the outer by being pressed into place with a slip adhesive (as most jug handles are) the bell has been slit open and the ends of the loop slid into the resulting 'pocket, then the clay of the bell has been smoothed down over the knop ends.
My initial thought was Kunzemann but the lack of any marks suggests not.
