Unsure whether this is porcelain or stoneware.
Clear mark which is a plus sign + within a circle.
Any help with ID welcomed thank you.

Not necessarily. A number of relatively new London potters using this glaze, like Annie Jennings

It is a recent purchase and doesn't seem to have any age, very clean.
I very much need to update my Yates Fournier, which is around 10 years out of date.
