what do you think the monogram is Ed? A A ?

looks like na or ma ,can't make out the one on the left , glazed on the inside as well and weighs over 5kilos

Hubby is having a butcher's through the British Pottery marks book for you Ed.

BTW Is it a wax-resist glaze?

Hi pip, yes I think it is what's called wax resist , I have looked through the british studio potters marks book , and can't find it there yet , I really wish i could find out who dunnit Ed

Yeah, we couldn't find it either - there were a few things that came close ... Hubby thinks that the first mark/lozenge is probably the important one for identification.

Me too, I have had the magnifier on it but still can't make my mind up, is it w or similar , potters are a mystery unto themselves when it comes to marking pots, if it was me i would stick on a big giant E that glows in the dark
