Vase, mystery AB mark - (Not Alex Blair)

another nice pot tried to find the potter but quite a few with A B marks. anyone know it.

I think it's by Alex Blair, Borgh Pottery, but, as you say, there are a number of potters with AB marks. I dont think that's a dot; looks like a loose bit of grog from the clay.

I sent the images to Sue Blair to ask if it was her husbands work.
she replied
"I'm afraid this isn't one of Alex's pots. The glaze isn't anything that we've used here
over the past 40 odd years."

So the search goes on. AB is a very popular mark

The dot seems relevant to separate from the other AB marks, See Alan Beaston uses a dot but signs his pieces
