Mystery four handled jug Empty Mystery four handled jug

I got this jug from my late father. I have no idea where it came from. My question is it a piece of Mediterranean tat or something else? It's pretty rough and ready but feels like it has some age to it. There are no discernable Mark's on it

Helps to have a photo of the base to see the clay colour, but it does look like a modern copy of traditional Italian maiolica or Dutch Delft ware. If it's pink clay then I'd say Italian maiolica.

Thanks for the reply. It does have a Delft ware feel about it. The decoration is very slapdash.

Cant find an exact match to the shape but I think it might be Spanish

Thanks for that. I've googled a description of the jug and haven't come up with any images which are remotely similar.
