Small bud vase, old looking and feeling with an indecipherable name on the bottom. It has got 45 imprinted in the base in old fashioned font numerals..
Anyone got any ideas where it might have been made?

My eyes are probably decieving me but it looks like a handwritten St Ives mark in the middle, but the style looks European

I reckon it is European as well. What looks like the St Ives mark is the "5" of the number 45.
There is impressed marks all around the base, but the firing was on a tripod stand - you can see the marks - and the glaze has not been wiped off the base, making it very difficult to discern.
Somehow it feels a bit special so I am loathe to get rid without actually knowing, but I have kept far too many old pots in the past using exactly these criteria and it is time for a bit of a thinning.

Similar crystalline glaze to Pierrefonds.
