Steven Sykes

Steven Sykes ( 1914-2011)  was one of the Picassettes in the 1950's with Willian Newland and Nicholas Vergette amongst others.  A long and varied career. His 1960's work is particularly attractivre.

Relief plaque/ tile

That is very nice! Other potters in the Picassettes style also did tiles for some coffee Bars back in the 1950 early 60's. That is a rare piece.

Thanks Philpot, I managed to pick up 4 by chance without knowing initially who they were by, I just new I liked them and they were of some skill and quality.

I can upload images of the other 3 if u would like to see them, u think they were probably made for a bar.

Would be pleased to see them.
